National Monument of Victor Emmanuel II

The following are photos taken of the National Monument of Victor Emmanuel II (Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II) in Rome, Italy while on a cruise on the Ruby Princess. Also known as the Altar of the Fatherland (Altare della Patria), "Il Vittoriano",  the "Wedding Cake" and the "Typewriter", this is a monument built to honor Victor Emmanuel, the first king of a unified Italy, located in Rome, Italy.
